Communication and trust between horse and human. Do you need help with your horse or would you like to strengthen the bond with your horse? The foundation is built on communication through the body language of the horse, equus and the trust between horse and human. By learning and understanding how the horse thinks, communicate, learn, reacts and acts, a new world will open to you in your relationship with your horse. Violence, force and stress are never a part of training a horse. The safety and wellbeing of the horse will always comes first. My methods are non violent and force free.
Preventing and solving common behavior problems. Many horses perform unwanted or "problem" behaviours. These behaviours are often symptoms of specific underlying issues. When addressing any of these difficulties we need to understand the root cause, so we can choose the best method to solve them. The horse will tell us, if we are ready to listen. Some issues can be resolved by small changes in management, others need time and retraining. Every case is individual.

Schooling or flat work consists of taking a horse through the scales of training: Rhythm, suppleness, contact, impulsion, straightness and collection. That leads to the ultimate of having a truly athletic horse which is thoroughly balanced and coordinated. To produce a horse successfully we need to have a thorough understanding of equine anatomy, movement and biomechanics. I also do pole work & jumping.

The Dually Halter is a patented schooling halter which effectively rewards horses for acting in partnership with the handler. This useful training aid will help get the most out of your work when leading, loading, long-lining, crossing water, as a bitless bridle and more. Your horse will teach himself to come off the gentle pressure of the soft, round nose band on the halter when asked, both forward and back. The release of pressure is the reward. Horses find the halter’s comfortable sweet spot and move with you to maintain it, without pain, knots or poll pressure. But remember, it just doesn't work, until the horseman knows how to handle the Dually Halter and until it fits properly. Those things are essential.
